Nathan Hoskins

(NASM certified personal trainer) father of 2 wonderful girls, serial hobbyist, strength training enthusiast.

As a former mental health and addictions nurse, I bring an understanding of the interconnectedness of the mind, body and heart, alongside a healthy dose of curiosity. I have a solid awareness of how body systems work together, how chronic and acute illness can affect training, and how to partner with other professionals to bring the best care possible.

Having used fitness as a fundamental support during intensely stressful times, including my partner’s health crisis, the emergency birth of my second child, a life altering brain injury and subsequent mental health crisis, I’ve experienced firsthand the profound benefits of strength training. I’ve used my time in the gym to retrain dysfunctional movement patterns following years of working physically demanding jobs. These experiences have made me eager to help others recover from physical limitations, and develop robust mental health hardiness.

I am incredibly thankful to be able to apply my nursing background, values and personal insight to help others reach their health and fitness goals.
